Menorca will be in the path of totality during the solar eclipse of August 12, 2026, becoming one of the best places in Europe to observe it. The phenomenon will occur at sunset, around 8:30 PM, and the Sun will be very low on the horizon (only 2° high), then disappear into the sea shortly after.
